The Monroe County Board of Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for Finance Director.  This position is responsible for managing the Finances of the Monroe County Government. Substantial background in Governmental Accounting as well as sufficient payroll and/or bookkeeping experience are required. Solid fiscal management skills, strong communication skills, and excellent problem solving skills are essential.  Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with completion of 3 to 5 years specialized training or education in the field of Governmental Accounting.  Starting salary for this position is $55,000.00.  Applications will be accepted until position is filled.
